BRITISH TURNTABLE BRINGS FAIRGROUND CAROUSEL TO LIFE
November 2007


In a major redevelopment of the Lynn Museum in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, a British Turntable revolve has been specified to bring to life a scale model of a traditional late 19th century roundabout manufactured by one of King’s Lynn’s best known engineering companies, Savage’s.

BRITISH TURNTABLE MOVEMENT ADDS IMPACT FOR LEGO®
October 2007


Two British Turntable revolves were used to great effect to rotate LEGO® models of the Star Wars™ characters, Jango Fett and R2D2 at the recent Star Wars™ Celebration Europe exhibition. Positioned on two 3 metre tall columns either side of the entrance to the LEGO® stand, the revolving models added impact and appeal, the movement helping to create an imposing and eye-catching entrance to the stand.

NEW LOW PROFILE TURNTABLE IS A WORLD-BEATER
October 2007


British Turntable has launched its lowest profile ever turntables with the introduction to its standard display movement range of the PS800LP and the PSBT800LP. Offering the lowest profile of any conventional turntables across the world, at only 23.5 mm high, they are as flat as the diameter of a pound coin. The PS800LP series of turntables also offer high performance combined with low noise and an almost indestructible safety clutch on the turn plate.

HOT AIR BALLOON BEARS TURN DISPLAY AROUND

Ceiling mounted revolves supplied by British Turntable helped David Aldridge Animation Ltd create a very special Christmas atmosphere at Houghton Hall Garden Centre, the rotary movement adding impact to the individual animated displays. The stunning displays were designed and installed by David Aldridge Animation’s skilled team of designers and technicians, whose animated seasonal and themed designs can be seen in theme parks, shopping centres and stores worldwide.

HAT CAROUSEL A WINNER
August 2007


A Maxi Carousel turntable from British Turntable came out a winner at Value Retail’s Kildare Village near Dublin when it was used as the basis for a most unusual creation by Tony G Ltd. The turntable became a 'fashion carousel', displaying a collection of beautiful, specially designed race-day hats and worn to Kildare race days by the fashionable and famous.

REVOLVING DOORS AT NEWVIEW
April 2007


Newview Windows and Conservatories of Worthing in West Sussex has introduced a little action into their new showrooms by revolving a selection of doors on a Mini Carousel supplied by British Turntable. The company, which offers its services to both commercial and domestic clients, was looking to interest householders in their products by presenting them in a more imaginative way, and sound and movement seemed to offer the solution.

OLYMPIAN TURNTABLE NOW EVEN BETTER
March 2007

British Turntable has developed significant enhancements to its popular Olympian turntable, making it a more attractive and appealing display option than ever before. The main new features of the 4.5 metre diameter revolve include the incorporation of the motor into the steel structure underneath the deck, and the addition of a dark grey skirt-type edging to the perimeter to complete the unit.

MOTORCYCLE TURNTABLE HELPS BIKESAFE CAMPAIGN

A Cyclone Bullet motorcycle turntable from British Turntable Co. is helping Devon and Cornwall Constabulary road casualty reduction officers to promote their "Bikesafe" message to motorbike riders in the area. Installed in a mobile exhibition unit, the Cyclone turns a crashed bike round so that the damage done to it can be seen from all angles.
